Hey, I'm RedOne. By day, I teach English as a second language — so I know exactly what a grammar drill looks like, and exactly how little it has to do with why I keep learning languages myself.
Polyglossia is where I write down what I'm picking up in my own time — Hindi through Bollywood, French through chanson, Japanese through anime. No drills, no flashcard apps, just whatever the music or the screen happened to teach me that week.
Maybe it's a bit of a busman's holiday. But learning a language because you love what it's wrapped in is a completely different feeling from teaching one — and this blog is entirely about that feeling.
